I would like to take this opportunity to speak about the Region IV Chair for 2011-2012 Kevin Feliciano. As Region IV Chair, Kevin serves as spokesperson for the Region IV Student Senate, presides over all administrative duties, and serves as a member Ex-Officio of all Region Committees. Kevin facilitates over all meetings of Region IV, and as Chair of Region IV serves as the third Regional Senator and as such he performs all duties of a Regional Senator position.
Kevin Feliciano is the Student Trustee for Ohlone Community College, and has served as the California Student Trustee President 2010-2011, and currently serves as the California Student Trustee Secretary 2011-2012. He is a student at Ohlone Community College, where he has served on the board for the Citizens Advisory Committee, the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, the 60th President of the Associated Students of Ohlone College. As of July 10th, 2011, Kevin serves as the Student Senate of the California Community College President. With this kind of resumee, it shows the kind of man that Kevin is. He is known to be hardworking, intelligent, dedicated, kind, understanding, and compassionate. One feature that we at Region IV enjoy about Kevin is that side tilt of his head then gleaming smile that he gives us. He has a laugh that is infectious, and a personality that is lively. He is a student advocate for 2.7 million students, and he handles this responsibility beautifully. We at Region IV are proud to call him our SSCCC President, comforted by his presents as Region IV Chair, and humbled to call him friend.
